To the Editor:The Sept. 26 article "F-Board Marathon Mostly a Success" provided mostly good coverage into the club funding process except for one area; we felt that our experience in the marathon process was spun to paint the Finance Board in a negative light. We understand the need to show two sides to every story, but unfortunately our entire story was not told. After the funding results were released, a number of F-board members reached out to us and told us to continue the funding process. Through the STEP meeting, we received the amount of money that we had asked for; during the Marathon process, we experienced a number of technical problems and miscommunications that resulted in the funding amount we initially received.

After we discovered the marathon results, our biggest emotion was that of confusion more than frustration. The F-board was quite enthusiastic about our club's involvement in the Brandeis community and has been quite accommodating to our needs. While the funding process contained a few bumps, we can honestly say that our club could not have continued gaining momentum and community support had it not been for the help and support of the F-board.
