Do it in the dark!, an annual month long inter-dorm energy-conservation competition between within the residence halls in Massell Quad, and the dorms in North Quad, ended last Wednesday, with Renfield Hall winning for Massell, and Cable for North, according to coordinator Mia Goldwasser '10.Goldwasser said the results of this year's contest were calculated by Bill Bushey, Brandeis' energy manager, and that Cable reduced 27.7 percent of its energy usage, Gordon reduced 23.8 percent, Renfield 22.9 percent, Shapiro 22.8 percent, Reitman 20.3 percent, Sheffres 19.7 percent, and Usen 18.6 percent.

The competition is sponsored by the University's Energy Savings Program with support from Students for Environmental Action and Brandeis Environmental Sustainability Team.
