Medical Emergency


Aug. 27-A person's finger was stuck in a door at 110 Angleside Road. University Police and BEMCo responded and treated the party on-scene with a signed refusal for further care.Aug. 27-A caller at Gosman Sports and Convocation Center reported that an 18-year-old male was accidentally hit in the left eye during a basketball game. BEMCo transported the student to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Aug. 27-A party in the Stoneman building reported that he was bleeding from the rectum. BEMCo transported him to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Aug. 28-A caller from the Goldsmith Building reported that a student was light-headed and had been vomiting. BEMCo transported him to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Aug. 30-University Police and BEMCo responded to a call from Rosenthal East that a 19-year-old female was intoxicated. BEMCo transported her to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Aug. 30-A caller from North Quad reported that a female who was possibly intoxicated had fallen down the stairs and cut her chin. University Police and BEMCo responded, and she was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Aug. 31-A caller in North Quad reported that her friend had two bug bites that were red and irritated. BEMCo responded and transported her to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Larceny


Aug. 27-A female in Ziv Quad reported that her purse had been stolen the day before when she left it in the common area of her suite. University Police compiled a report.

Disturbance


Aug. 27-A caller at 567 South Street reported that he did not want his girlfriend to be there, but she refused to leave. The female suspect was issued a verbal trespass notice and was placed in protective custody. She was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Traffic


Aug. 28-A caller in the North Quad parking lot reported an automobile crash in the vicinity of North Quad. No injuries were reported. Both parties were on-scene and exchanged information with the University Police officer present.

Miscellaneous


Aug. 28-A caller from 567 South Street reported that an Asian female would not let her leave the building. Trespass notices were issued verbally and in written format to the suspect by the University Police prior to the call. The suspect was placed under arrest for trespassing and was transported to the Waltham Police station by?University Police.

Aug. 28-A caller from 567 South Street reported that someone was banging on the door and window of his apartment. University Police responded and arrested the same female from the earlier August 28 trespassing incident. Further charges will be sought in addition.

Aug. 28-The Ziv Quad Community Development Coordinator reported that she found a Class D substance in one of the suites and she would like it to be confiscated. University Police responded and confiscated the contraband.
