Medical Emergency
Mar. 29—A party in Shapiro Residence Hall reported having a fish bone caught in their throat. BEMCo was requested and treated the party on the scene, and the party was transported by University Police to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Apr. 6—Police received a report of a party in East Quad who fell and hit their head. University Police responded and assisted the party on the scene with a signed refusal for further care.
Apr. 9—University Police received a report of a party in the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center who had glass in their eye. Police responded and assisted the party and requested Cataldo ambulance for transport. The party was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital for further care.
Apr. 10—University Police monitored a radio call from the Waltham Police Department dispatching Waltham Fire Department and ambulance to school grounds. Waltham Police called University Police, explaining they received a 911 call for a report of an intoxicated party in the Shapiro Life Science area. University Police located the party in the Shapiro Life Sciences building. The party was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital by Cataldo ambulance for further care.
Apr. 14—A party in Rosenthal Quad reported feeling dizzy and nauseous. Police notified BEMCo who treated the party on the scene with a signed refusal for further care.
Apr. 15—Police received a report of a party in Ridgewood Quad who fainted and was unconscious for approximately 45 seconds. Police and BEMCo responded and treated the party on the scene. Cataldo ambulance transported the party to the emergency room for further care.
Apr. 16—A doctor from the Psychological Counseling Center requested an ambulance for a psych transport for a party with section 12 paperwork. University Police assisted the ambulance staff and transported the party without incident.
Apr. 16—Police received a call of a party on the soccer fields who was injured and notified BEMCo. BEMCo treated the party on the scene with a signed refusal for further care.
Larceny
Apr. 15—A party off-campus reported their bicycle was stolen. Police compiled a report on the incident.
Disturbance
Apr. 18—Police received a report of loud music and people talking loudly near East Quad. Police responded and checked the area but found nothing.
Other
Apr. 1—Police on patrol observed people inside a dumpster near the Epstein Building. The people were identified as theater students looking for possible misplaced items that mistakenly may have been thrown away. Police took no further actions.
Apr. 14—Police interviewed a harassment victim in Stoneman and compiled a report on the incident.
Apr. 15—A party in the Usdan Student Center reported finding a manila envelope in their mailbox with unusual writings. Police complied a report on the incident.
Apr. 17—Police received a call from a reporting party in the Goldsmith Building who said a former graduate student was in a room watching a movie. University Police issued the party a written trespass warning in hand.
Apr. 17—Police received a call from escort staff that a possibly intoxicated party was dropped off by a taxi at the main entrance. The party stated they did not know where they were and started walking toward the Spingold intersection. University Police checked the area and were unable to locate the individual.
