MEDICAL EMERGENCY

Oct. 7 — A party in Stoneman reported an injured finger. The party was treated by BEMCo and was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital by Cataldo Ambulance.

Oct. 7 — A party in the Public Safety building reported back pain. The party was treated by BEMCo but signed a refusal for further care.

Oct. 8 — A party in Goldman-Schwartz reported an unknown medical condition. BEMCo arrived on-scene to find that the patient had fainted, but was currently conscious. The party was treated by BEMCo but signed a refusal for further care.

Oct. 8 — A party at the Information Booth at the Shapiro Campus Center fell. The party was treated by BEMCo but signed a refusal for further care.

Oct. 8 — A party at the Charles River Apartments was reported vomiting. BEMCo and Waltham Fire arrived on-scene. The party was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital via Cataldo Ambulance.

Oct. 9 — A party in Ziv Residence Quad was reported having low blood pressure. BEMCo arrived on-scene and was unable to wake up the party to take medication. University Police arrived on-scene and was able to wake up the party. University Police contacted the party’s home with information about their condition. BEMCo was cancelled due to lack of need.

Oct. 9 — A party in Stoneman reported feeling ill following breaking the fast of Yom Kippur. BEMCo treated the party and University Police transported the party to the Urgent Care facility for further care.

Oct. 10 — A party in North Quad reported being intoxicated. BEMCo arrived on-scene and the party was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital by Cataldo Ambulance. The Area Coordinator on call was notified.

Oct. 12 — A party in North Quad reported an ankle injury and was treated by BEMCo, but signed a refusal for further care.

Oct. 12 — A party in Gosman Sports and Convocation Center reported a leg injury. BEMCo was put on standby. The party signed a refusal for further care.

VANDALISM

Oct. 8 — A party at the Shapiro Campus Center reported that their name had been erased from a board in a common area. University Police compiled a report on the incident. 

DISTURBANCE

Oct. 7 — There was a report of a heavy-weight, white male at the Usdan Student Center acting confused and out of place. University Police approached the party and spoke with the party, who had been dropped off at the Usdan bus stop accidentally by an Uber driver. He is waiting for another Uber to pick him up and transport him to Moody Street. There was no further action taken by University Police. 

Oct. 9 — There was a report of a loud party at 150 Charles River Road. University Police dispersed a small group of people who were having a party near the tree line across the roadway without incident. 

Oct. 10 — There was a report of loud music at 178 Charles River Road. When University Police arrived on-scene, the music had stopped.

Oct. 12 — A party in Ziv Residence Quad reported noise from an upstairs suite at 12:05 a.m. University Police arrived on-scene and found out that the party was registered until 1:00 a.m. All was in order.

Oct. 13 — There was a report of a suspicious white male wearing a blue hoodie harassing people at the B Lot of the MBTA Commuter Parking. The subject, who was not a Brandeis student, was located by University Police on South Street. He was checked through the WMS system and was not granted warrants. He was then given a verbal trespass notice by University Police and released.

Oct. 13 — There was a report of a group of seven Brandeis students making loud noise at the Athletics tennis courts. University Police dispersed the subjects without incident.

DRUGS

Oct. 9 —The Area Coordinator on call in Rosenthal North confiscated marijuana. The University Police confiscated the contraband. Area Coordinator on call compiled a report and Department of Community Living staff will file a Community Standards Report.
