Empowering identity

With days filled with sports, drama, arts and crafts and rock-climbing, a day at Camp Aranu'tiq doesn't feel all that different from most other summer camps.


The universal language of art

It was a summer of creativity, with projects ranging from drawing to photography and writing. Offices were replaced with classrooms, and Internet access was less frequent in West Africa.

She danced her way through her senior year, adding up to six hours of rehearsal a week to her rigorous academic studies.
