Team comes away with few victories at WPI

The National Basketball Association season tipped off last week as a new era of players was ushered into the league.
■ Zach Diamond ’18 finished in first place in the men’s 1000-yard freestyle race against Wheaton College.
The men’s tennis team started the weekend at Bates College in the Wallach Invitational. Going into this tournament, they looked to revive their lackluster season and make a serious run into the later rounds. The Judges got off to a slow start this season, making a small impact in the first tournament of the year at the Middlebury Invitational.
■ Ryan Stender ’18 finished in fourth place overall to lead the Judges to victory on Saturday afternoon.
With a split in their season opener, the Judges look poised to erase the memories of last season.
