Brief: Cardillo places 19th out of 24 foilists in NCAA Fencing Championshipss

Foilist Julian Cardillo '14 finished 19th out of 24 foil fencers in the 2012 NCAA Fencing Championships at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio last Sunday. Cardillo, the sole representative from the men's and women's fencing squads to qualify for the NCAA Championships, finished 7-16 in the two-day tournament. "Obviously, it's never fun to win less than you lose, but with that said, a lot of the bouts I lost, six of them actually, were 5-4," he said.
