To be honest, writing about feminism makes me a little uncomfortable. I guess I'm sensitive about sounding like a grumpy bra-burner or some other negative female stereotype.


Rekindle lingering Occupy movement spirit

I was out of the country for most of this past spring, but even from southern Spain I could pick out the signs that usually appear at the beginning of an election year. From my-albeit short-life experience when it comes to presidential elections, it seems like we can start to observe the mood of a presidential race once fall begins.


Double majors impede exploration of classes

Maybe this is melodramatic, but I think I was emotionally scarred by my first tour of the Brandeis campus. I'll always remember my tour guide, stocky with a Jew-fro and wearing linen harem pants, booming about how ambitious Brandeis students are as we rounded Usen Castle.
